A WHILE AGO, it was announced that the Manor would be staging an exhibit of arts and crafts rendered by the residents. Everyone was asked to bring samples of their work to the main desk. When the day came we were pleasantly surprised to see how many folks had recognized their creative side and produced interesting things. It took several tables in our main lounge to display a variety of handiwork.
'Round and 'round the room we went, snapping pictures

Stained glass and illustrated travel journals |
What a fabulous variety here--So much talent!
ReplyDeleteAnd while I knew about your journals, I didn't know Bob did stained glass. I've always wanted to learn that. Someday! That piece is lovely with all the greens.
Quite a variety, yes! I didn't know Bob did stained glass either. My brother-in-law is very good at doing stained glass work, too, and has done a lot of things with it as well. I had no idea you both had all that talent. Your book is gorgeous--I remember holding that one in my hands--I wish I'd had more time to really spend going through it longer than was possible that night. So much talent at the Manor!
ReplyDeleteGosh so much talent and how beautifully displayed
