GUESSING GAME

GUESS WHICH ONE of us is dealing the more gracefully with the situation at hand.

Mr. Bob always appears to be sitting next to a tall, ample spouse when we have our picture taken together. He's taller than I am by 5 inches, but evidently has longer legs. Once, years ago, we tried to correct it by instructing him to sit tall, while I scrunched down. Later our son pointed out that in that particular photo Mr. Bob's feet weren't even touching the ground.

The medical report is that he's feeling quite fine, in good spirits, with a healthy appetite, and not nearly the tendency to nap frequently that he had before all this. Let's hear it for oxygen!!!

What oxygen is to the lungs, such is hope to the meaning of life

  1. I do love your quote for the day. Hope Susan posts it on her facebook page. I still don't know how to do any of those tricks. Since WLT never wants people to think he is "heavy" he makes me stand in front of half his girth when we take fotos. That wasn't so bad when I was much thinner, but now we tend to jockey for the "hidden half" of pictures. You both look great in this one!!! xoxo T.O. Joanne

  6. Don't forget that the one sitting in front always looks larger, and the one sitting in back is partially hidden by the front person!

So glad Bob's doing better -- wonderful oxygen! He probably should have had it a few years ago.

Jim hoped to visit last week, but he's been sicker than a dog for a week now, so we'll hold off on that thought!

I am giving a workshop next week and one topic is "Hope" I will use today's quote in the presentation. It is perfect for a personal story. Dad does look well, hooray Oxygen - hoooray Hope!
