THE WINDS WERE HEAVY ENOUGH THE OTHER NIGHT FOR NEWS OF THE DESTRUCTION TO REACH AS FAR AS ALASKA. OUR COMMUNITY WAS FORTUNATE.....A FENCE DOWN HERE, FALLEN BRANCHES THERE. IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD IT BLEW ALL THE BEAUTIFUL LEAVES OFF OF THE TREES AND NOW IT FEELS AS THOUGH WINTER IS TRULY HERE.
SOME NEIGHBORING CITIES ARE STILL WITHOUT POWER.
THIS YEAR'S AUTUMN BEAUTY IS BUT A MEMORY.
WOW! Gorgeous shots ! A Non Y Mouse
ReplyDeleteHearing about your wind in Minnesota too. I forget that naked trees constitute winter in your country.
ReplyDeleteI heard about the winds! Glad you are safe.

Pretty pictures!
I did hear about winds, but didn't realize you were right in the midst of all that! Yikes. These photos are gorgeous--you'll have these for memories, at least...glad to hear you are ok.
ReplyDeleteMy step son emailed from Munich as they had seen the destruction in Pasadena on their news and were worried about us. I wrote back and told him that we were so safe here in T.O. that I didn't even have to skim the pool. I loved your fotos. T.O.Joanne
ReplyDeleteLove the photos.....I was diving to a job in Arcadia/pasadena area and encountered all the downed trees, brush. It really was crazy looking with all the power oles and lines down everywhere. The client we were moving had their front tree fall out at the base across the entire street. Wow. In one day, or a few hours, devastation!
