SEASON'S READINGS

IT DOESN'T MAKE MUCH SENSE,
BUT WE'RE DOWNPLAYING
THE HOLIDAYS THIS YEAR,
WHICH WOULD HAVE MADE
MR. BOB'S LIFE EASIER
IF I'D APPROACHED IT
THIS WAY OVER THE YEARS.
I'VE TENDED TO BE THE
SUGAR PLUM FAIRY,
WEDDED TO SOMEONE
RESEMBLING
MR. GRINCH OR SCROOGE.

THERE'S MUCH FOR WHICH
TO BE THANKFUL AND
THAT'S WHERE OUR FOCUS WILL LIE.
TIME GOES SO QUICKLY THAT
IT'S HARD TO BELIEVE THAT
CHRISTMAS IS NEAR, TO BE
FOLLOWED A WEEK LATER BY
A BRAND NEW
YEAR.

"The mere brute pleasure of reading - the sort of pleasure a cow must have in grazing."
                                               ~Lord Chesterfield

  7. Well, now that you live at "The Manor" you have minions to put up the decorations! Doesn't get any easier than that! Jeanine

  8. My favorite fotos were of your grandson pulling up his little chair to pick out his book to read and of course the glimpse of Mick and Nadine reading together. This is as good a Christmas card as any I could receive!!!
