PROOF OF LAUGHTER

THIS WAS TAKEN six years ago or maybe longer and I don't know if it's a Christopher picture or one of my own, probably Chris's, due to the quality.

I wish big glasses would come back into style.
Or I wish I were not so lazy about seeking out what's not currently in fashion.

Mr. Bob has been feeling poorly the last few days.
I wish I had the ability to ease his discomfort.
Right now laughter is nonexistent.

  2. Oh, my heart goes out to him--with all he's been through, I can well imagine he would not be feeling very well. The two of you have been on such an emotional roller coaster with all this. I'm so sorry--my thoughts are with you both...xo

  4. Oh yes Jane....not fun at all. I think this post said it all. The fun is not always in the moment, but in looking to the past. I hope it is a calm day.

  8. Hope you can both feel the hugs I'm sending to you. I know how strong and brave you are but that does not mean that you will always feel your usual abundance of joy at every turn in the road. Sometimes it is enough just to sit and embrace the love you feel. T.O. Joanne

  14. Just wanted to let you know that I miss your daily entry into my life. I know there is a reason for your being absent and pray that, whatever it is that you are facing, you will know that there are many people out here in blog land who are praying for you. T.O. Joanne

  17. Dear Jane,
I miss your insight, intelligence, astute observations, wit and compassion, but I know full well that you and Mr. Bob are dealing with the most difficult situations imaginable. My heart goes out to you both to bring you the strength and guidance you need to meet each day's challenges. I send thoughts of warmth and healing and support and love.
