WISH US LUCK

TODAY'S the second of six get-well sessions and we're starting with the seven hour one. Then only an hour tomorrow and the next day. After that, 28 free days until the next one.

I need to go pack a lunch....... sort of a chemo picnic, I guess.
Wish us well!

  1. God, it sounds so hard. I wish you both all the best. I hope Bob will do ok, and see all of this behind him really quickly. I can't tell you how much I admire so much how you two have handled such adversity.

  2. Bob's being a real trooper. I've had my moments, I assure you, to the point that I feel very apologetic, even though I know it's good to "let it out".

  4. My personal definition of courage is to face and do something that is daunting without hesitation because it's the right thing to do at the time. People who act with what others call courage do not think what they do is courageous -- it is the only correct choice. It doesn't seem like courage until later on, if at all.

I hope you both have reasons to smile and relax as the day and evening go along.

  5. I love what Jeannie wrote and I want you to know that both of you are my heroes. Today was my volunteer day at the hospital and I found myself thinking of the two of you and how courageous you have been. Don't ever think that your "moments" are anything but proof that you know the battles you are fighting and still stand up and fight. That is true courage!!! T.O. Joanne

  6. I like the positive attitude -- get well sessions.  The best way to label such an appointment!  And making a pic-nic for it sounds just right too!!  We are all on your side as you know!!  Celebrating life whatever way we can is my goal too!  Sending love to you both!    Evelyn

  7. I'm a day late, and more than a dollar short! I hope it was less than hellish.
