Years and years ago I took a workshop on applying makeup. When I shared this cartoon with the instructor, a former Rose Queen, she was not amused. I, however, continue to smile every time I lay eyes on it. It's framed behind glass; thus the reflection of my camera.
hahaaa! Good tip. I think it might be too late, though--I have wrinkles that are evidence of me apparently doing a lot of this, I believe.

ReplyDeleteThis did make me laugh out loud. I have to admit that I feel like some what of a voyeur...always reading your blog and not commenting. Today I am actually letting you know how much enjoyment I get out of your daily postings. My life is quietly interconnected to yours by times and places. My parents and I lived down the street from your friends Mickey and Nadine from the 40's until I went off to college and got married and Timi did the same. I wandered through your book store enjoying your selections and finding things I just couldn't live without for years and my son, now 40, and my grandchildren were beneficiaries of your exquisite taste. Thank you for giving me so many smiles and for renewing so many memories. Joanne Tuchman
ReplyDeleteI thought it funny! I have like many, met persons who do not laugh nor in any way find pictures like this funny. Oh what they miss in daily life. Thanks you for your posts!

ReplyDelete...some people just don't have a sense of humor, Jane. I enjoyed it.
Thanks, all. Comments mean so much.....they boost my enthusiasm. Some days......and this Monday may be one of them, I'm stumped for a subject. I don't want to lose my momentum.......I'm a person who once stopped has trouble climbing back into a routine. Thanks, to each of you. Joanne, might I know you if our paths crossed? Maybe we'll go to Trader Joe's at the same time one of these days.
